New Commitment

The New Commitment form is where you provide the details of your organization's pledge to the Global Disability Summit.

Form Structure

The form is divided into several logical sections to capture all necessary information. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

General Information

• Title of Commitment: A concise title for your pledge (maximum 150 characters).
• Text of Commitment: A rich text editor where you describe the commitment in detail. A "Preview" tab is available to review the formatting.

Geographical Scope and Location

• Implementation Scope: A dropdown to specify the level of implementation (e.g., Global, Regional, National).
• Continent: A dropdown to select the primary continent where the commitment will be implemented.

Categorization

• Topic: Select the specific topic that best describes the focus of your commitment.
• Pillars: Checkboxes to indicate which GDS pillars your commitment falls under. You can select multiple pillars, such as:
  • Non-discrimination, Equality & Participation
  • Accessibility
  • Situations of crisis and conflict
  • Social and economic rights

Timeframe

• Timeframe: A dropdown to specify the expected duration or completion date for the commitment.

Submission

Once all required fields are filled, you can click the Create new Commitment button to save your pledge. If you intend to make multiple pledges, you must complete this form separately for each individual commitment.
